Home-visit leaves

What it is

Requests for boarders to spend time at home, approved by parents and staff.

Why it matters

Makes sure every leave has consent and a clear record.

When to use it

Wardens and the principal approve or decline; parents track their own child's leave.

Who uses it

Administrator

How to get here

1. Sign in as Administrator (see Signing in).
2. In the left menu, click Hostel to open it.
3. Click Home visits.

• The list has these columns: Student, Destination, Departs, Expected return, Status. Click a column name to sort by it.

Buttons on this screen

• Raise a leave — opens a form to add a new one. See Filling in the form below.

Using the list

Type in the search box to find a row. Use filters to narrow the list. Click a row to open it. More in Lists.
