Allocations

What it is

Which boarder sleeps in which bed, and from which date.

Why it matters

Shows every boarder's place and dates without checking paper files.

When to use it

Wardens assign, move or end a boarder's bed; the record keeps the history.

Administrator

How to get here

1. Sign in as Administrator (see Signing in).
2. In the left menu, click Hostel to open it.
3. Click Allocations.

What you see

• The list has these columns: Student, Hostel, Bed, From, To, Status. Click a column name to sort by it.

Buttons on this screen

• Allocate a bed — does what it says on the button.

Using the list

Type in the search box to find a row. Use filters to narrow the list. Click a row to open it. More in Lists.
