Counter sessions

What it is

Each cashier's counter shift, from opening float to closing count.

Why it matters

Makes sure cash taken at the counter is counted and accounted for.

When to use it

Cashiers open a session, take payments, then close with a count for checking.

Who uses it

Administrator

How to get here

1. Sign in as Administrator (see Signing in).
2. In the left menu, click Fees to open it.
3. Click Counter sessions.

What you see

• The list has these columns: Opened, Cashier, Status, Float, Counted, Difference. Click a column name to sort by it.

Buttons on this screen

• Open session — does what it says on the button.

Using the list

Type in the search box to find a row. Use filters to narrow the list. Click a row to open it. More in Lists.
